SERVICES: This service provides tissue diagnosis of ocular, orbital and adnexal specimens. Specimens should be submitted to Surgical Pathology /Cytopathology receiving window. Routine processing requires fixation in a minimum of 10x  the tissue volume of 10% buffered formalin. Scanning electron and transmission microscopy capabilities are available. These specimens should be fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde.
