| Comments | Amphetamine may be detected in the urine 3-72 hrs after ingestion. The urine amphetatmine screening test detects the presence of amphetamine-like compunds based on a d-amphetamine concentration of 500 ng/mL or greater. Cross-reactivity is possible with many of the over the counter drugs. Contact the laboratory if MDMA or ephedra testing is needed. This test should be used for screening purposes only. Confirmation testing should be considered for positive screens. | |
