Turnaround Time   Samples for tacrolimus testing must be in the Core Laboratory by 12pm(noon) for same day testing. Samples received after noon will be run the following day.
Results are available by 4pm.
Reference Range   5-15 ng/mL (trough, steady state).
Tacrolimus reference ranges vary with protocol, organ type, time since transplant, and patient status. Contact laboratory, pharmacy, or transplant co-ordinator for more information.

Trough samples are used for routine monitoring, and should be collected immediately before the next dose.
