Comments Deliver immediately to Core Laboratory. Place specimen on ice if transport to Core Laboratory is anticipated to exceed 30 minutes.
Venous specimens should be obtained without the use of a tourniquet. Patients should not excercise their arm or clench their fist before or during collection.  Syringes with needles attached will not be accepted.  Syringes may be obtained from Central Distribution.
